There will be some downtime this morning of the 2fort, Instant respawn, and fast respawn servers. We will be moving to a new rack at the colo. Currently it is set to happen at 8:30AM but I would say 8AM to 9AM to be safe.

Stompfest, once again, has some great news to announce.
Over the last few weeks, we've gained an incredible number of new subscribers and donors. As we've always said, all of the money we get from these goes towards improving and expanding our servers to give our players a more enjoyable experience. Within the last month alone, we've gained enough money to rent a brand new server for an entire year! This is great news, and not just because our gamers will have one more Stompfest server to play on. This server is run at a datacenter other than our other servers. If for whatever reason our main data center goes down, or we need to do repairs on our own physical server, our players will still have a place to game.
So I'm sure you are all wondering what will be different about the new server... Well, it's going to be a custom map server! Do you love the popular stock maps, but get sick of them being played over and over again? Want to play something a bit different? This server will be packed full of maps that are custom, yet fully balanced and tested. Don't want to wait to download each individual map? Download our map pack (located on the navigation menu on the left) and extract it to your map directory!
Jokerz is in charge of adding maps to this rotation, so please feel free to make suggestions in the TF2 forum. He will be checking each suggested map for certain properties, such as size, style, and balance. Those that pass his test will be put on the server for a few test runs. If all goes well, it will then be added into the rotation.
Hlstatsx, as well as reserve slots, will be included in this server as well!
Again, this could only be done with the continued help of this amazing community. If you see someone with an orange or light blue name on the forums, make sure to give them a thank you!

Valve is ready to release their latest update tomorrow. As always, we'll be having our update party in a private server which only subscribers will be allowed to use. What generally happens is many of the subscribers get together and work on earning as many achievements as possible in a small map designed specifically for earning achievements.
If you'd like in on this, please make sure to subscribe before midnight tonight! Only subscribers will be allowed to enter this server!
(it will be open to the public after 24-36 hours but its pure hell as no admin to enforce rules)
Not only will you be earning heavy achievements left and right, unlocking the new weapons and gaining an edge over the competition, you will also be given a reserve slot for the length of your subscription. This allows you to enter any of our servers instantly, even if they are full! No more waiting, hoping someone will drop out so you can join.
